FBI agents search Newton home
NEWTON – FBI agents were searching a home in Newton on Wednesday.
Agents could be seen sifting through trash at 24 Fairfield Street and bringing out bags and boxes of belongings from inside.
Neighbors say the couple who live in the home are medical professionals who are quiet and keep to themselves and their adult son lives with them.
The FBI did not say what the search is related to, but said it is "conducting court-authorized law enforcement activity."
Neighbors told WBZ-TV they were perplexed as to what could have led to the search.
"This is a great neighborhood and with the school right here, and school starting next week, it's just unnerving to see so much activity without knowing what's going on," neighbor Lana Borenstein said.
