At least 4 killed, including gunman, in shooting at Southern California biker bar

At least three people were killed and several more wounded when a gunman opened fire at a biker bar in Southern California's Orange County Wednesday evening, authorities said. The suspect was killed by deputies, Orange County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Frank Gonzalez told reporters at a late night briefing.

The three who were fatally shot and the gunman were pronounced dead at the scene, Orange County Fire Authority Captain and spokesperson Sean Doran said at the briefing.

The shooting occurred at the Cook's Corner bar in the Trabuco Canyon community sometime before 7:45 p.m. local time.

Doran said six additional victims were taken to area hospitals, "some" suffering from gunshot wounds. Their conditions weren't provided and no names were released. 

The sheriff's department said no deputies were hurt during the incident. 

The circumstances leading up to the shooting weren't immediatly known. A law enforcement source told CBS Los Angeles that the situation may have unfolded as a domestic incident. 

Trabuco Canyon is about 55 miles south of Los Angeles.
